It all began when Affy’s workmates approached her husband, a skilled painter, for help with some painting services.
While her husband excelled at his craft, communication in English wasn’t his strong suit. So, Affy stepped in to help, handling service quotes and client conversations.
What started as a simple act of support quickly grew into something more meaningful. She learned the trade, understood the business, and soon, a family-owned painting service was born 10 years ago.
Recognizing the power of the community she had lived in for 20 years, she joined BNI—a trusted networking group. Through genuine connections and shared experiences, she gained the support, knowledge, and confidence to grow—both personally and professionally.
