It all started when Affy stepped in to help her husband—a skilled painter who struggled with English—by handling quotes and client communication for his workmates. What began as a simple act of support soon grew into something bigger, and 10 years ago, their family-owned painting service was born.
As she learned the trade and the business, Affy also tapped into the power of her community. After joining BNI, she built meaningful connections that helped her grow both personally and professionally.
Today, she leads a team of licensed painters with more than 30 years’ experience between them. Together, they’ve transformed more than 500 homes, and PaintX holds a 5.0 rating from 116 Google reviews.

Yes. PaintX holds NSW contractor licence 393679C and $20 million public liability cover, and every painter on your property is covered by workers compensation. Your home is in safe and skilled hands from start to finish.
How do I get a quote for my painting project?
To get a quote for your painting project, just click any “get a quote” button. You’ll be prompted to fill out a form with all the details we need, or you can give us a call.
What if I have a busy schedule and can’t be around during the workday?
Our team has excellent communication skills and will keep you updated throughout the process. We’ll send pictures, email you updates, and answer your calls whenever you have questions.
Do I need to do any preparation work before you start painting? Should I move furniture or cover anything?
We’ll start with a pre-painting meeting to explain the process. You can remove any frames or wall hangings so we can access the walls. There is no need to move your furniture. We will cover everything to keep things clean. We will handle the rest so you don’t have to worry.
What type of painting materials do you use?
We use well-known, premium-quality materials such as Dulux and Taubmans.

What’s your estimated timeline for completing the project?
